Barb’s Philosophy:

I believe we are all unique individuals.

Each of us has inner abilities and strengths that can be used to solve everyday problems. There are times in everyone’s life when they need a listening ear, a compassionate heart to understand, and help in clarifying which way to go.

This is where counselling can be helpful.

My approach is based on Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy, which has been extensively researched and is accepted as a valuable and successful treatment for many psychological problems. I listen with an approving heart and gently challenge, inspire and encourage clients in their quest for wholeness.

My goal is to support my clients in finding inner peace and happiness.

Confidential consultations are held in a safe and nurturing environment in my home office at Rothwell. Please ring 0417700456 for an appointment. As I may be with a client, please leave a message and I will return your call as soon as I am able.

I am registered with the major private health funds and with Medicare (for eligible clients being referred by their GP). I am fully registered with the Qld Psychologists Registration Board and am an associate member of the Australian Psychological Society. I follow strict ethical guidelines.
